SCHOLARSHIP & PAYMENT PLAN
Tuition Reductions are granted on a case by case basis by the HYF Board of Directors to those in need of assistance. The board usually reviews and replies within 2 business days.
HYFA augments it's tuition fees with fundraising to keep the costs as affordable as possible. Families that need assistance with tuition through tuition reduction or full scholarship will be required to participate in additional fundraising activities that equal the amount of the fee reduction.
All tuition fee reductions will be covered by selling additional Raffle Tickets. Example: If the applicant is granted a $100 tuition reduction they would be required to sell 34 additional Raffle Tickets for a total of $102 (note: the dollar amount will always round up since Raffle Tickets are $3 a piece). A full scholarship would require 75 additional Raffle Tickets. This requirement is in addition to the required fundraising that each player must sell.
Failure to complete the required fundraising will void the tuition agreement and full payment will be required for the player to participate.
