We are excited to offer our ninth season of Flag Football for boys and girls from Kinder through 2nd grade! 

HYFA is committed to providing a fun, structured and positive environment where kids can be active, while making friends, learning the fundamentals of football and valuable life skills.

All kids play!

  • Games consist of two 20-minute halves. Each child is expected to play at least a half per game.
  • Practices may be two to three times per week, 1 to 1 1/2 hours, at the discretion of the Head Coach. 
  • Games are on Saturdays.
  • There is a maximum of 10 kids per team to ensure that all kids play at least (2) full quarters.
  • Divisions:
    • Kinder
    • 1st
    • 2nd
  • You may request placement with a specific child and or coach. All efforts will be made to facilitate this request, but cannot be guaranteed.
  • Players age and grade as of September 1st determine what group your child will play.
  • Cost: $100 before June 30th.  (Jersey purchased separately)

Parent Meeting - MANDATORY

UNIFORM/EQUIPMENT

Players will be given:

  • Mouth-guard

Parents are responsible for providing: 

  • Jersey - Purchased via GearUp:  TBD
  • Black Shorts or Pants
  • Undergarments - Short/Long Sleeve Shirts should be white, blue or black.
  • Cleats or Turf Shoes (No Metal Cleats)
    • We will have a shoe bin at the Parent Player Meeting for players to borrow used shoes or donate to. 
  • Socks - should be white, blue, black or red
  • Additional Mouth-Guards as needed

Flag belts will be provided by the coach at each practice/game.

  • 08/17 = Registration Closes & Jersey Order Deadline

  • 08/21 = Coaches Meeting & Coaches Equipment Pickup

  • 08/25 = First Week of Practice

  • 08/25 = Parent Meeting

  • 09/05 = Youth Night at High School Game - Hare Field

  • 09/06 = First Games

  • TBD = Picture Day

  • 10/25 = Last Games (home under the lights)

  • 10/29 = Coaches Equipment Return
