We are excited to offer our sixth season of Flag Football for boys and girls from Kinder through 2nd grade! We are also offering flag to 3rd & 4th graders in the 3/4 Flag Level, for those players who choose not to do tackle football. 

HYFA is committed to providing a fun, structured and positive environment where kids can be active, while making friends, learning the fundamentals of football and valuable life skills.

All kids play!

  • Games consist of two 20-minute halves. Each child is expected to play at least a half per game.
  • Practices are usually Tuesdays & Thursdays at Hillsboro HS from 5:45pm-6:45pm.  This is subject to change, at the discretion of the Head Coach. 
  • Games are on Saturdays.
  • There is a maximum of 10 kids per team to ensure that all kids play at least (2) full quarters.
  • Divisions:
    • Kinder
    • 1st
    • 2nd
    • 3rd & 4th
  • You may request placement with a specific child and or coach. All efforts will be made to facilitate this request, but cannot be guaranteed.
  • Players age and grade as of September 1st determine what group your child will play.
  • Cost: $75 before June 30th. Includes Jersey w/Name. 

Parent Player Meeting

Date: Monday, August 19th 

Time: 6pm Check-In / 6:30pm Start

Location: Witch Hazel Elementary Cafeteria (4950 SE Davis Rd. Hillsboro OR 97123)

Please bring your player's completed Medical Release. They need to be registered and have this in order to participate. 

We will have a used cleats bin for players to check-out and/or donate to. 


Players will be given:

  • Game Jersey w/Name
  • Mouth-guard

Parents are responsible for providing: 

  • Black Shorts
  • Undergarments - Short/Long Sleeve Shirts should be white, blue or black.
  • Cleats (No Metal Cleats)
    • We will have a shoe bin at the Parent Player Meeting for players to borrow used shoes or donate to. 
  • Socks - should be white, blue, black or red
  • Additional Mouth-Guards as needed

Flag belts will be provided by the coach at each practice/game.
