Hilhi Youth Football follows the same program as used in the High School with training and support provided by the High School Coaches.
Please read the below requirements thoroughly.
We have both online and in-person trainings that need to be completed.
Coaches will not be able to take the field, until ALL requirements are completed.
1) REGISTER ONLINE: 2022 TVYFL Coach & Staff Registration
2) BACKGROUND CHECK: 2022 TVYFL Background Screen ONLY - USA Football Certified Coaches
3) BECOME A USA HEADS UP FOOTBALL CERTIFIED COACH:
This is an ONLINE training. You must have/create an account with USA Football. Go to https://account.usafootball.com/login and make sure "Hillsboro Youth Football - TVYFL" is your organization.
- On your dashboard, click "Certifications & Courses", then "Take Me There".
- Find "Youth Certification 2022". Click "Learn More", then "Get Certified"
- The certification cost is covered by HYFA, but you must use the code below to purchase.
- Be prepared to dedicate at least 3-4 hours of time into this training. This can be done altogether or at different times. There is no skipping or fast forwarding sections.
- If you are a returning coach and have been previously certified, your account should be recognized and will just need to complete re-certification.
- Important topics such as health/safety, blocking/tackling techniques, and coaching kids will be covered.
You will receive a USA Football Certificate upon completion. It will be emailed or found on your USA football account. Please email it to registrar@hilhiyouthfootball.com once complete.
3) ATTEND TVYFL & HYFA TRAININGS

- Be prepared for more meetings/clinics to be added.
- LEADERSHIP SOCIAL
- Friday, August 12th 8pm @ Coyote's Bar & Grill
- For HS coaches, youth coaches & board members
- Spouses welcomed/encouraged
- FIRST AID/CPR: Per TVYFL, the Head Coach, an Assistant Coach, and Safety Coach/Coordinator must be certified. All coaches are welcomed are encouraged. If you attend this session the cost is covered by HYFA; if you choose to not attend this session you will be responsible for the cost and you will not be reimbursed.
